Today in an event in Beijing Xiaomi unwrapped many new devices and one of those devices Xiaomi Amazfit Verge 2 which can be trouble for brands like Apple and Fitbit. It supports ECG features and e-SIM like Apple Watch 4 and can also be used for keyless car entry and keyless start functions on cars manufactured by Xiaopeng Automobile. It has slight design changes from its predecessor and there is also an Avengers Limited Edition Amazfit Verge 2 with custom theme and band.
The Avengers Limited Edition version is priced 1499 yuan ($216) while the ECG version and standard version come with a price tag of 1299 yuan ($187) and 999 yuan ($144) respectively.

Verge 2 boasts a 1.39 inch AMOLED display with 2.5D glass and a microcrystalline Zirconium Ceramic frame. It is dust and water-resistant too. It runs on Snapdragon’s Wear 2500 processor paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. It comes with in-built e-SIM for 4G VoLTE calling independently. It comes embedded with a NB-IoT which enables you to report real time health emergencies without Bluetooth connectivity. Verge 2 is able to track 10 sports activities automatically using its in-built GPS module.
Its ECG edition can store 60 minutes of ECG data for 7 days and comes with Huangshan No.1 AI processor for accurate heart-rate tracking as well as real-time screening of PPG and ECG arrythmia with atrial fibrillation. It is backed by a 420mAh battery life on 4G and supports NFC and AliPay offline payment too.
