Xiaomi is on the heights after launching its Redmi K20 and K20 Pro in China and now it has proved that it is more than a smartphone manufacturer. Ahead of Xiaomi Mi 9T launch on June 12 the brand will unveil two wearables on June 11. One a sporty Amazfit Verge 2 and another Mi Band 4, successor of its popular Mi Band 3. The Mi Band series has always been popular since its launch and the Mi Band 3 broke all the records by selling one million devices!! Now the company’s Mijia brand has teased the launch of the new Mi Band on June 11 via Chinese social media site Weibo. The teaser also confirms the rumors about the colored display.
It is also said that Mi Band 4 will feature an OLED display and will come in some funky colors. It is also tipped that it will have a bigger 135mAh battery compared to 110mAh battery of Mi Band 3, as colored display needs more power. Mi Band 4 will also feature NFC pay which could be for Xiaomi Mi Pay and will also come in a non-NFC standard variant. It is also said to feature Bluetooth 5.0 for improved connectivity and lesser power consumption. It is rumored that it will have an improve heart rate sensor too. Mi Band 4 is likely to be priced $72 for NFC variant and around $28-$43 for standard non-NFC variant.
